About the House

The Bethel Guest House is a beautiful structure located on the mountain above Port au Prince. We have a modern facility and a wonderful staff who strive to make you feel welcome and at home in Haiti.  Bethel Guest House is safe and self-contained complex with 24 hour security.  We work extremely hard to keep you and your group comfortable during your visit.

The food is excellent, varying from traditional Haitian dishes (beans, rice, vegetables, etc.) to delicious American influenced meals. We have fresh filtered water available at all times for drinking.  Also, here you can enjoy one of the most amazing views in the Port au Prince area and several balconies have stunning views of the Haitian countryside.

An international telephone is available for a fee of $.50 US per minute.

Bethel is a Christian guest house designed to host mission teams from different denominations, adoptive families and visitors. It is our desire that our guests would understand we have certain restrictions (for example, no alcoholic beverages, no smoking in the rooms, and respect for the privacy of other guests).  Our desire is for you to have the best experience possible on your visit to Haiti.

In the spirit of keeping our guests happy, we invite everyone, regardless of race, disability, or national origin to enjoy our Haitian hospitality and join us for meals.

Since 2003, we have done our best to provide food and service in ways that uphold our tradition of genuine quality.  We, here at the Bethel Guest House, are extremely proud of our ability to make you feel at home while you stay with us.  We built this house for special people, just like you.  If you have suggestions as to how we can make your stay better or ways we can improve the quality of our service, PLEASE let us know.
